Logistics has a long-time tradition at our university.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ziems was covered by the terms transport-handling-storage (Transport - Umschlag - Lagerung (TUL)) the leading initiator for the foundation of this technical speciality sector.His constant efforts to gain the neccessary significance for this speciality sector in the academic education, lead the the foundation of the first degree programm "Industrial Engineering with specilization in Logistics" throughout Germany.

The further growing importance of Logistics in industry, business and politics and the great demand of young degree holders of this speciality field is also reflected in the number of enrolled students in the different study years.

We wish all students the maximum success for their studies, but also in their personal life and we will do everything possible from our part to make this possible.
