The Master of Science study programme "Industrial Engineering with specialization in Logistics" [consecutive]
The "Industrial Engineering with specialization in Logistics" master degree programme is based upon the Bachelor study programme. It includes 90 Credit Points and a 3 semester standard period of study.
The goal of the Master studies in continuation to the first degree with professional qualifications, the Bachelor, which qualifies the degree holders to understand, analyse and manage logistic processes, is to develop the competencies for the design, optimization and reengineering of logistic processes and complex networks. The Master degree qualifies the degree holder for scientific work in research and development teams and is the basis to obtain the degree of a doctor at any college or university.
The foundation is build up by the obligatory modul "Methods of logistics modelling" and 2 of 4 specification fields:
- virtual engineering and ramp-up,
- supply chain and collaborative management,
- sustainable logistics,
- intelligent material handling systems.
