Course of Studies

The institute of Logistics and Material Handling supervises the degree programme "Industrial Engineering with specialization in Logistics".
In the labarotories and in diverse projects thinking in complex systems and structures, problem solving skills, how to work in multidisciplinary teams and leadership are trained.

The product oriented subject of Materials Handling researches the interactions between machines and transported materials with all their consequences for the design and the automatization of the machines and processes.

The ILM represents in research and education the technical oriented point of view on the logistics,  in short the engineering logistics. The main logistics focus are the development of planning intruments for logistic processes, systems and networks, the selection and the operation of information systems for the logistics, the logistical analysis and diagnosis, the logistics knowledge management including e-learning and sustainable waste management from the logistics point of view.
